Short Description
5K SIGN ON BONUS!!
FULL TIME Technologist $5,000 Sign-on bonus for a two-year commitment. Bonus paid as follows:
- $1000 upon completion of first 90 days
- $2000 after completion of 1 year
- $2000 after 2 years of employment
Responsibilities include:
- Directing daily activities within the department.
- Facilitating employee orientation and training.
- Performing area specific QA/QC procedures.
- Performing radiographic procedures in accordance with the ALARA concept.
- Assisting physicians with radiographic procedures.
- Performing various operations using radiographic and associated equipment.
- Assuring maintenance of all radiographic and associated equipment.
- Maintaining patient records via appropriate system.
- Performing patient care functions in a safe environment.
- Adhering to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Substantiating status of good standing with state and national licensing/credentialing agencies by the submission of appropriate documentation.
- Interacting effectively with all customers.
- Assisting staff and students in the performance of radiographic procedures and associated duties.
- Participating in the evaluation of staff and students as needed.
- Assisting with the transportation of patients, maintaining work area and performing basic clerical duties.
Experience Required
Certificate of completion/Degree from an Accredited Radiograph Program.
Minimum of 3 years clinical experience; biennial completion of minimum required CE credits to maintain required certification/accreditation.
Education Requirements
HS diploma or equivalent.
License/Certification Requirements
Must be licensed by the NJDEPE and credentialed in radiograph and mammography by the ARRT.
Current ARRT - American Registry Radiology Tech License.
Current NJ-RADTECH - NJ Radiology Tech License.
CPR certification.
