Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health Services Director to lead and coordinate our multidisciplinary team in the area of medication clinic services. This key role will involve acting as the Administrative Clinical Liaison to our psychiatric providers, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing leadership and strategic direction for the medication clinic services team.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary team activities to enhance client care and service efficiency.
- Serve as the primary liaison between administrative functions and psychiatric providers, facilitating communication and collaboration.
- Oversee the development and implementation of clinical protocols and best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
- Engage in community outreach and education efforts to promote medication clinic services.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field of study such as social work, psychology, or counseling, and at least one course in abnormal psychology; as well as appropriate Michigan Licensure (LMSW, LPC, or LLP).
- Valid Michigan Driver’s license.
- 5 years of proven experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting, preferably in mental health or medication management.
- Strong understanding of clinical practices and healthcare regulations related to psychiatric services, Substance Use Disorder, and Medication Assisted Treatment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
