Join our dynamic team at Avacare as a Nurse Clinical Research Coordinator! In this role, you'll coordinate and participate in clinical research studies, ensuring they are conducted according to protocol, good clinical practice, and relevant regulations. Essential Functions
- Support investigators in study preparation and execution.
- Review study protocols and documents.
- Collect and submit regulatory documentation.
- Recruit and screen patients for clinical trials.
- Orient research subjects to study procedures and requirements.
- Maintain source documentation and adhere to GCP/ICH principles.
- Schedule and perform study visits and procedures.
- Handle lab testing and specimen collection.
- Monitor subject safety and report adverse events.
- Address study-related questions from subjects.
- Participate in meetings and ensure study tasks are completed.
- Perform clinical research procedures (e.g., ECG, spirometry, lab sample collection).
- Update and maintain staff training and skills.
- Assist in safeguarding subject well-being and maintaining site standards.
- Act as an advocate for research subjects.
- Provide training to new site staff and supervise lower-level staff.
- Prepare for study monitoring visits, audits, and inspections.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/training.
- Strong knowledge of clinical trials and GCP.
- Proficient in clinical procedures including placing IV's, Phlebotomy, EKG's, obtaining patient vitals etc.
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Applicable certifications and licenses required.
- CCRC or CCRP certification preferred.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $63,800.00 - $106,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
