Description
The instructor is a Professional Registered Nurse who facilitates student learning in theoretical, laboratory, and clinical aspects of nursing. Instructors participate in curriculum development, implementation and evaluation. Requires minimal supervision.

Required qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Ph. D. required for Nursing Instructor IV position or DNP or EdD.
- Texas Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- Minimum of one certification approved by Covenant Health (for Nursing Instructor II) upon hire
- Minimum of one certification approved by Covenant Health, recommended Certified Nurse Educator (for Nursing Instructor III) upon hire
- Minimum of one certification approved by Covenant Health, recommended Certified Nurse Educator (for Nursing Instructor IV) upon hire
- 2 years Clinical experience with adequate practice to assure competency in the area of instruction

- Administrative experience
- Computer Assisted Instruction Coordinator:
- Nursing education experience
- Administrative experience
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in teaching
- Computer Assisted Instruction Coordinator:
