Inova Loudoun Hospital is a 183-bed nationally recognized, acute-care community hospital with a rich history of proudly serving our growing and diverse community since 1912. The Inova RN:
- As a Registered Nurse, you will provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patients/families, nurse and healthcare delivery teams.
- To help achieve our mission, you will consistently provide safe and therapeutic care in a holistic/systematic way while incorporating differences into the provision of care and conducting all patient care in a patient/family centered manner.
- Your ability to integrate knowledge, skills and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families throughout the continuum, to include patient and family education, is of vital importance.
- Communicating effectively and working cooperatively with others while having respect for and an understanding of other clinical disciplines is required.
- Your ability to determine processes for delivery of care from direct patient/family communication, technology and other healthcare team member collaboration is essential.
Schedule: Full-Time/Days (36 hr/week) 3- 12 hour shifts
Requirements: Requires a minimum of 1-year Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.
Minimum Education Requirement: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date. BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required and ACLS strongly preferred (must obtain within first 3 months)
Minimum Licensure/ Certification Requirement:
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Virginia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start.
Additional Skills:
- Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skill and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others. Proficient computer skills required.
