Looking for a qualified Unit Manager (RN / LPN) Manager with Long Term Care Experience. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Unit Manager (RN / LPN) to make a difference in caring for patients in our community. We provide compassionate short- and long-term healthcare and specialized medical support.

Unit Manager Job Duties

A unit manager typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

Ensuring that all staff members are performing their duties effectively and efficiently
Managing the day-to-day operations of the department or unit, including hiring and training employees and overseeing their performance
Monitoring inventory levels to ensure that supplies are adequate and ordering more as needed
Providing leadership and guidance to employees, including coaching them on best practices
Maintaining a safe work environment by enforcing safety regulations and procedures
Ensuring that all company policies are being followed and recommending changes when necessary
Reviewing reports and statistics to identify opportunities for improvement in productivity and efficiency
Coordinating with other departments such as accounting and human resources to ensure smooth operations
Developing and enforcing rules and procedures to ensure that the workplace runs smoothly
Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license required
