Role Summary:
Our client is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to lead the integration of hardware and software components within their state-of-the-art commercial facility. You will work closely with the R&D lab to test, validate, and troubleshoot new systems, ensuring that all components work seamlessly together to meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and security. This role is perfect for a technical professional with strong problem-solving skills and experience working in high-tech environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Integrate hardware and software components to ensure optimal system performance.
Collaborate with the R&D team for testing and validation of new technologies.
Maintain documentation for integration processes, test plans, and results.
Work closely with hardware engineers, software developers, and operations staff to ensure smooth integration.
Provide ongoing support for integrated systems, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies for future integration opportunities.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in hardware and software integration, particularly in a technical or engineering environment.
Strong understanding of testing and validation methodologies.
Excellent troubleshooting skills with a focus on resolving complex technical issues.
Familiarity with networking protocols, operating systems, and virtualization technologies.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Desired Qualifications:
Proficiency with integration tools and lab management systems.
Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Bash is a plus.
