Cross Country Locums is seeking a Board Certified Pathologist in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Please review the details below:
Requirements:
- Must be Licensed in Indiana
- BC in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
Work Schedule:
- Weekdays 8a-8p
- Office closed on holidays but required to be on call (24hr) if scheduled. This is rare and most calls are handled via phone.
Scope of Work:
- Credentialed at 4 facilities
- Frozen sections, surgical pathology sign out, cytopathology
- 40-45 cases/day
- Laboratory consultation
- Histology, PA, and transcription staff are on site
- No Gyn; just Non-GYN Cytology
Call Details:
- Predominantly phone calls/Blood Bank
- Most after-hour frozen (which are rare) are known in advance and are just later OR elective cases
Work Solo: No. There will be another Pathologist on site most of the time.
