Memorial Community Hospital & Health System (MCH), located in Blair, Nebraska, is seeking a Ultrasound Tech to join our Radiology team working PRN/Casual.

Job Summary
- Shift Details: PRN position, call at least one weekend/month and one day/week.
- Performs ultrasound exams according to department procedures (including labeling of images, patient and exam preparation, obtaining history and explaining exam to patient).
- Responsible for operating ultrasound equipment and performing Vascular exams in such a manner that high quality images are obtained for a Radiologist’s use in diagnostic interpretation.
- Uses cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological diagnostic information and images.
- Uses independent judgment during exam to differentiate between normal and pathological findings.
Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification or board eligible.
- Currently licensed by the state of Nebraska as a Medical Radiographer.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- One year of experience in a high volume ultrasound department is preferred.
- One year of experience in a high volume vascular department is preferred, but will train as needed.
