We’re looking for someone who can:
- Perform high complexity testing including stem cell processing, CBC differentials, antibody identification, antigen screens, cross match, absorptions, and elution.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment; analyze complex problems; and recommend additional service, as needed.
- Review and report test results, participate in investigative studies, participate in quality control, preventative maintenance, and validations.
- Provide technical support to hospital transfusion services.

Minimum Requirements:
MLS I – Certification as a Medical Technologist/MLS/BB by a recognized certifying agency required. (or must receive certification within 6 months of eligibility). 0-2 years of relevant laboratory experience meeting Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist educational requirements OR 5 years or more experience for the Medical Laboratory Technician.
MLS II - Certification as a Medical Technologist/MLS/BB by a recognized certifying agency or CLIA equivalent for high complexity testing required. Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting or BB Certification required.
MLS III - Certification as a Medical Technologist/MLS/BB by a recognized certifying agency or CLIA equivalent for high complexity testing required. Three years laboratory testing experience required. One year of Reference Lab/IRL experience preferred. Two years of experience in a lead or charge capacity required.
MLS IV - Specialist in Blood Banking (SBB) by a recognized certifying agency required. Five years clinical laboratory testing experience required. One-year IRL experience preferred.
