Early Years Educator – ROOM LEADER
Immediate Start -29th October
The ideal candidate will be fun, caring, enthusiastic, and demonstrate a good understanding of children’s needs. They must have good leadership skills, work well as part of a team and demonstrate commitment to promoting the well being of children
.
Candidate Requirements and Duties:
The candidate must hold a Minimum QQI Level 6 in Childcare / Early Childhood Studies / Early Years Education or equivalent required
The ideal candidate:
Will be a team player but also able to use their own initiative,
Understand each child learns at their own pace
Can bring energy and enthusiasm to the role.
Communicate well with others
Work in partnership with parents
Ensuring the children have good hygiene
Cleaning interactive areas throughout the day
Organising activities and developing curriculum for older children
Developing a schedule for the children to maintain throughout the day
Keeping records of each child’s progress, interests and any problems that may occur
They should be able to demonstrate good knowledge of Child development, Pre school regulations and Aistear and Siolta.
Working with children aged 0-4 years old
Must have completed free HSE online E-Learning Children’s First training
First Aid and Manual Handling an advantage
Subject to Garda Vetting and reference checks – 2 written references required
Must be currently living in Ireland and have all work permits if applicable
