Responsibilities
The Manager of Perioperative Services is responsible for the direction of patient care in the perioperative environment.
- The Manager manages the staff members in all Perioperative Departments.
- Consults with staff, physicians, and Nurse Executive on nursing issues and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met.
- Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and assists with the formulation of the budget for the department.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- Must have a current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
- BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
- A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience necessary.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), required for all hires after 1/11/2021.
- CNOR; preferred.
- Current ACLS (AHA) Certification upon hire and maintain current.
- At least two (2) years of experience in Surgical Nursing.
- Current PALS (AHA) certification for those facilities caring for the pediatric population.
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $86,361.60 to $112,486.40 annually. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of hiring, considering various factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
