Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, VA, is currently hiring an MRI Technologist for a Flexi/PRN Rotating Shift.
Job Description:
Perform MRI examinations while maintaining safety integrity of MRI operational area for all persons including staff and customers.
Maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.
Explain examination and procedure to patient, and complete departmental documentation.
Job Requirements:
Education: Completion of MRI school/MRI certificate program OR Graduate of 24-month program in radiologic technology required in lieu of experience.
License/Certifications: CNMT, ARDMS, ARRT, or ARMRIT is required. Must obtain ARRT MR advanced registry or ARMRIT within 2 years of hire.
Preferred Experience: One (1) year experience in a Rad Tech position to include Radiologic Tech, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, or Ultrasound preferred. Six (6) months MR experience or completion of MR didactic program. Experience with GE and Siemens Equipment preferred, but not required.
