Description
We are seeking a licensed behavioral health therapist to join or treatment team. This is a part-time role with office space available for building or growing a private practice. We have an attractive location in the desirable East Side of Providence. This role will require:
- Direct client care through individual and group therapy.
- Conduct comprehensive client care delivery from intake and assessment of new client, treatment planning, and through discharge.
- Document client interactions consistent with professional licensure and organizational requirements.
- Manage relationships with referral sources, participate in business improvement processes, self-manage employable status, and continuous learning and acquisition of clinical skills.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all relevant clinical information is documented properly and sent to the patient, their referring healthcare provider, and the treatment team
- Create treatment plans that reflect patient’s values, goals and health while incorporating feedback from treatment team and ensuring support systems are in place
- Evaluate client needs and create individual interventions while establishing person-centered goals for behavior modifications
- Support patients and their families with evidence-based therapy in both group and individual settings
Qualifications
- Masters or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related field and be either provisionally licensed and under supervision or licensed by the State of Rhode Island
- Minimum of two year’s recent related experience working with trauma, PTSD, eating disordered clients or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Compensation
$60 - $70 hourly

Bayberry Psychology is a licensed and Joint Commission-accredited behavioral health organization providing intensive outpatient services to adults with eating disorders. Supervision from a licensed Psychologist if needed. Hourly rate negotiable depending upon experience. We also have office space available to build your private practice.
