Job Summary
Provides behavioral medicine services which include applying psychological knowledge and principles in an integrated primary care setting to treat common physical and mental health problems experienced by adults and/or children patients and families in primary care, including consultation, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment consistent with an integrated primary care model. Maintains records and attends required hospital and residency meetings. Collaborate with colleagues on the inpatient and outpatient services. Primary responsibility will be to assist with developing services consistent with collaborative care within a patient-centered medical home. There will be some opportunity to provide didactics, run a support group, and teach residents within the same specialty.
