Job Description:
The Senior Workday analyst is responsible for evaluating, designing, and executing solutions that maximize the effectiveness of the Workday platform. The candidate should have a functional understanding of operational and technical aspects within their area of expertise to independently and effectively design, troubleshoot, and resolve reported system issues. This role must effectively collaborate with customers, peers, technical, and operations staff to assist with solving business problems.
Requirements (Education, Work Experience, Licensure, Registry &/or Certifications):
- 4+ years’ Workday Sustainment experience in configuration or implementation with a Partner, preferably.
- 4+ years business operations experience in a vertical area.
- Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- WorkDay Pro certification or Implementation certification from Partner is a plus.
- Willing to attain WorkDay Pro certification within 12 months of hire.
- Background in identifying, designing, testing, and deploying business operations processes, procedures, and best practices.
Job Responsibilities:
- Expert subject matter expert on complex issues/enhancements within a vertical (Payroll, Finance, Technology, HCM, Spend) of the ERP and supporting the business users to optimize the system to meet the Enterprise needs.
- Design, develop, and implement highly complex technical Workday solutions.
- Configure WorkDay based on approved design solutions.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
- Manage and coordinate the implementation of Workday solutions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to Workday users.
- Stay up to date on the latest Workday features and functionality.
- Participate in the Workday community by sharing knowledge and expertise.
- Review and resolve support tickets including continuous monitoring of ticket progress and tracking open issues through resolution.
- Act as the liaison among the stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, communicate, and validate business requirements regarding the Workday system.
- Perform testing for software upgrades, break-fix, and enhancements.
- Drive continuous process improvements within Workday modules.
Reporting and Analysis Responsibilities:
- Complete business requirements document to outline the requirements and the technical solution.
- Complete change request models and present to change control for feedback, approval, and adjustments to design.
- Design dashboards and other data visualization tools for the business users.
- Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Possess the intellectual curiosity needed to identify/seek opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Ability to analyze, consolidate, and present large amounts of data in a manner that promotes action and is a concise solution.

Technical Lead Responsibilities:
- Provide support or manage analysts in the WorkDay platform.
- Mentor analysts to provide robust analytical and technical solutions to business problems.
- Review business requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Provide Level of Work estimates for projects.
- Facilitate projects to ensure completion.
