About the job
The ideal candidate values collaboration over solo effort. We plan ahead, outlining high-level objectives, then breaking down those objectives into achievable goals.
We are looking for someone with strong finance and accounting fundamentals. You must have a desire to learn and have a very strong attention to detail. You possess strong Microsoft Excel and organizational skills.
What you'll do
- Prepare and review financial statements and other financial reports
- Prepare financial models, forecasts, and related analyses
- Design and implement business process improvement initiatives
- Act as a liaison between Finance and other external and internal parties
- Work from the Sibi office 5 days a week
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance; advanced degree preferred (CPA, Masters or MBA)
- 2+ years of public accounting experience (Big Four accounting, advisory, or consulting experience preferred)
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and/or SEC reporting
- Willingness to tackle complex problems, applying analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member
- Ability to manage and review the work product of other team members
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality output
- Capable of managing multiple work streams simultaneously
- Team oriented with strong desire to contribute to the growth and success of Sibi
