What you'll be doing...
You'll be responsible for the strategic planning and operation of Verizon's B2B connected laptop portfolio. You will be primarily tasked with managing multiple laptop manufacturers to ensure their roadmap of Verizon compatible devices achieve an on time and successful launch in coordination with cross functional teams. You will partner hand-in-hand with network, engineering and sales teams to ensure Verizon's network and sales goals are met.
- Working closely with the device OEMs, chipset vendors and OS/platform vendors to architect and manage solutions aligned with Verizon Business Group strategic objectives.
- Managing partnerships with device manufacturers to drive business device, product and sales needs.
- Driving 5G into the connected laptop ecosystem.
- Responsibility for device operations - providing feedback on product requirements, performing gap analysis, and communicating product needs to laptop manufacturers.
- Performing analysis of launched products' data and lead executive reporting development.
- Managing the funnel of new/existing products from ideation to post-launch optimization, including leading weekly read outs to the business device team & Verizon stakeholders.
- Developing executive presentations for stakeholder communications on strategic initiatives progress, risks, and launch performance.
What we're looking for...
You have a passion for wireless products and operations. You are not afraid of a challenge and will work to find solutions to difficult problems. You have a proven track record of collaboration and embrace the opportunity to take ownership over your work.
You'll need to have:
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Six or more years of relevant work experience.
- Two or more years of experience in the Telecommunications product field.
- Experience in product management including portfolio strategy and partner management.
- Experience translating market knowledge and strategy into compelling stories and tools for the business.
- Experience with wireless technologies such as 5G and private networks.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- MBA or Master's degree.
- Experience working with laptop technologies including hardware development, chipsets, and operating systems, such as Windows OS.
- Experience managing multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Technical and analytical skills, including the ability to understand and communicate highly complex technical information.
- Experience working autonomously in a fast paced environment.
- Experience outlining issues/challenges, while offering viable solutions and recommendations.
- Problem solving and organization skills.
