The DSP Operational Efficiency team is looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst to join us and help improve the DSP experience. A successful Business Analyst must be able to work independently, be comfortable with ambiguity, and be able to influence internal/external partners at all levels of the organization. This role will particularly suit someone with strong analytical abilities, relationship building skills, and stellar project management capabilities. To be successful, you must also have very strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as you will own communicating program progress very crisply in various business reviews.
In this role, you will analyze data and insights from various channels to diagnose process issues, identify improvement opportunities, and partner with technology teams to deliver new features or tools. Stakeholder management is a substantial element of the role and daily bandwidth. This role will manage large, complex initiatives, deal with ambiguity, balance speed with quality, and advocate on behalf of the customer to provide high-performance solutions.
Key job responsibilities
- Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into actionable reports/dashboards
- Translate data into actionable insights
- Identify processes to automate and scale ad-hoc analyses
- Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc. that will support our business needs
- Participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions
- Solve complex problems by building scrappy and effective models
- Work within time constraints to meet critical business needs

Basic Qualifications
- Experience in Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience in business or financial analysis
