A Day in the Life:
Produce pricing KPIs and market intelligence by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports. Create methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources. Suggest and work on report improvement utilizing SalesForce and Tableau.
Perform total price quote support and contractual sales support for customer accounts, Bunge Sales personnel, Product Management, Marketing, and R&D as requested. Assist Pricing Managers in price data maintenance to ensure accuracy in downstream processing of contracts, orders, and invoices. Aid in profit generation by monitoring quotes and prices through market supply and demand fluctuations. Act as an advocate for both the customer as well as for Bunge Oils, ensuring that contract-related requests are handled efficiently and accurately.
What You'll Be Doing:
Manage Salesforce opportunities to have same-day turnaround with approvals and loading of margins.
Generate customized reports on pricing, quotes, and contracts.
Perform total contract management, including contract and quoting within present margin goals, system entry, and contract balance reporting in a timely manner for all customer accounts, Sales personnel, Product Management, Marketing, and R&D as requested using target margin goals supplied by Pricing Managers.
Load weekly price list and update quarterly freight rate, evaluate trends with strategic business impact.
Manage system entry of price targets keeping track of validity periods on all customer accounts and segments.
Manage and keep up to date pricing sheets and SAP conditions according to Price Management assigned targets and validity periods.
Ensure price and contract policy and procedures are followed through all transactions, including obtaining the appropriate approvals for deviations to price in any fashion.
Investigate and resolve price discrepancies with full understanding of price structures, margin expectations, and costs within the SAP price routine.
Understand full account nuances and tendencies in contract renewals.
Own the relationship with the pricing managers directly to update pricing as needed on a regular basis, providing insights on trends and possible improvement ideas.
Provide market information to buyers and understand commodity buying options to provide the most benefits to our customers and our company.
Skills/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business management or marketing required.
Strong analytical, mathematical, verbal, and written communication skills. Proficient organizational skills, especially time management. Familiarity with CBOT exchange and fundamentals of futures and basis trading.
Two to three years previous experience with quoting, contracting, or other data customer-related activities.
