Job Description
Establish, maintain, and lead a centralized administrative structure to efficiently manage the MUSC Enterprise real estate portfolio. Lead and coordinate the acquisition and disposition of properties. Act as a strategic partner to hospital and clinical leadership ensuring that their real estate assets meet their long-term business strategy. Collaborate with all senior leadership to meet the organization’s objectives, ensuring operational initiatives are supported properly by the real estate. Analyze, evaluate, and develop real estate strategies using appropriate market assessment and financial techniques and forecasting resources and tools. Supervise real estate record keeping and reporting to the Board of Trustees as requested.
Additional Job Description
Masters Degree required. If not MSN, must have a BSN. Doctorate in nursing or health related field preferred. Eligible for South Carolina RN license with license obtained and maintained upon hire. Extensive and progressive administrative experience required. Maintain current SC license to practice nursing. Meets mandatory educational and health requirements. Demonstrates competence in essential job functions. Maintains and seeks new knowledge related to evidence-based practice, patient care issues, quality improvement, financial management, current policies, procedures and protocols. Registered Nurse by South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state required. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
