Job Overview:
The Office of Energy Programs has an Energy Analyst position that will assist its State Facility Utility Management team with the maintenance of the Utility Data Management (UDM) platform for State facilities, focusing on data integrity, including utility bill, facility, and end-user data. This position will support ongoing benchmarking, data analysis, project identification, and annual reporting of utility costs, consumption, and avoided costs related to capital projects or operational programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain data integrity within a state utility data management (UDM) platform.
- Assist with UDM Quality Control measures including validation of platform data against end-user utility cost & consumption data.
- Communicate frequently with utility vendors to request invoices and inquire into rate structures.
- Support ongoing benchmarking, data analysis, measurement & verification, and reporting of utility costs, usage, and avoided costs.
- Provide technical support and customer service to UDM platform end users via phone and email.
- Run queries in and export data from UDM platform.
Required Experience:
Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field such as environmental science, data, or business.
