The Position
The Analyst, Tax position is an outstanding opportunity for individuals seeking an exciting, high-growth work environment in one of the most important industries for the 21st century. This position will report directly to the Manager, Tax, and will support provision, income tax compliance, as well as tax planning.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of year-end tax estimates for financial statement and external stakeholder purposes.
- Preparation of federal, state, and informational returns prepared in-house.
- Preparation of year-end tax provision and Income Taxes footnote.
- Review of organizational and operating documents for new and existing projects.
- Ad Hoc research of tax technical issues/deadlines/stakeholder questions.
- Periodic taxable income projection and modeling.
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of tax experience with a focus on federal and state partnership returns.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint is required.
- Oracle NetSuite and/or Corptax experience is a plus.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain a positive attitude, and be challenged every day.
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner (verbal/written) with internal and external stakeholders.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s in Taxation or Accountancy is a plus.
