Description
ClinChoice is looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Finance team at Fort Washington office. This position serves as a strategic partner to the business, bringing deep functional and industry accounting experience to help drive sustainable growth and revenue recognition.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the compilation of analysis of project budgets, backlogs, monthly revenue accruals and unbilled/deferred revenue balances for accuracy & proper accounting treatments, ensuring full financial compliance with IFRS standard and Internal Control requirements.
- Monitor the project life cycle to ensure the project status is timely and accurately updated in the ERP system. When a project is completed, perform the final reconciliation to ensure all financial data is checked before it’s financially closed in ERP.
- Work closely with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team to analyze complex project financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
- Partner with Project Managers and function teams to establish frequent communications ensuring timely delivery of month-end procedures, and responses to internal and external inquiries related to project finance.
- Assist in the internal control review, interim financial audit and annual financial audit.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in accounting, project finance or audit, with a multi-national organization, preferably a life science or Contract Research Organization (CRO) company.
- Sound understanding of GAAP and IFRS. Experience and knowledge of managing revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606 and IFRS 15 is a plus.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills including vlookup and pivot tables.
- Experience with the ERP system. Microsoft Dynamic 365 experience is preferred but not required.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual in Mandarin is preferred but not required.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, intellectual curiosity and influencing skills, motivated to solve problems.
