Clark Wood, a specialist in accountancy practice recruitment, is currently working with a local independent firm of chartered accountants in Alton. This firm is looking to add an experienced and driven Accounts Senior to their team.

This respected firm boasts a diverse and interesting client base and is continually expanding. They seek an ambitious individual for a varied general practice role, focusing on the production of year-end accounts and tax compliance.

Role Overview:

As an Accounts Senior, you will work with a variety of clients, including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships across different business sectors. Your diverse workload will include:

Preparing and reviewing statutory and management accounts

Producing associated corporation tax computations and returns

Candidate Requirements:

Experience in a varied general practice role

ACCA / ACA Qualified or Qualified by Experience

Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero

Prior experience in a similar role within a local firm
