We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Treasury Analyst to join our finance team.
Job Summary: The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for managing the company’s cash flow in & out, as well as providing critical operational support to various teams such as AR, AP, Billing, Accounting & Audit. This role requires excellent analytical skills, and great interpersonal abilities. We are seeking someone capable of working with and learning multiple accounting functions, and who is eager to jump in and help the team in a myriad of ways. This position will provide a wholistic view of business operations with the opportunity to branch into the areas found most compelling to the Treasury Analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cash Management: Monitor daily cash positions, forecast cash flow requirements, and ensure adequate liquidity to meet operational needs.
- Banking Relationships: Maintain and develop relationships with banks and financial institutions to optimize banking services and negotiate favorable terms.
- Accounts Payable: Assist in the weekly processing of outgoing payments to both vendors and publishers as part of the core business model. This includes preparing wires/ACH payments, conducting fraudulent checks on suppliers and their banking details, ensuring internal financial systems are synced, and maintaining fully funded bank accounts.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes related to treasury activities.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on cash flow and liquidity to senior management.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of treasury operations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including accounting, finance, and operations, to support overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in treasury, finance, or a related role.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and accounting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with treasury management systems is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a corporate treasury environment.
- Knowledge of international finance and foreign exchange.

At the time of posting, Rakuten expects the base compensation for this role to be within the range shown below. Individual compensation will vary based on job-related factors, including the skills, qualifications, and experience of the successful candidate as well as business need and geographic location. The successful applicant for this role will be eligible for discretionary bonus, health, vision, dental insurance, 401k matching, PTO, Volunteer Time Off (VTO), and other employee benefits as the company implements.
