Job Description
As a Business Analyst L1 at DP Electric, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with key stakeholders to identify, design, and implement business metrics, reporting solutions, and software platforms. Working closely with department heads, you will identify and implement appropriate metrics and reporting solutions, utilizing the latest cloud technologies to build data pipelines, dashboards, and reports. This role also involves acquiring fundamental knowledge in data science principles, developing coding proficiency, and gaining familiarity with cutting-edge technologies. Your contributions will significantly impact the establishment of reporting standards, shaping the future of the department.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with departments to identify and define business metrics.
- Develop and maintain insightful dashboards for stakeholders.
- Manage data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow and accessibility.
- Implement robust data security protocols and manage permissions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Adhere to best practices for SQL, coding, and dashboard development.
- Liaise with third-party vendors for seamless integrations.
- Analyze data to identify trends and process optimization opportunities.
- Perform regular audits and compliance checks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business analytics, data science, or related field.
- 1-2 years of analytics experience or equivalent college exposure.
- Proficiency in SQL and Database Management.
- Experience with Python or equivalent coding language.
- Familiarity with data visualization software such as PowerBI, Tableau, etc.
- Strong organizational and Project Management skills.
- Adaptability and independence in problem-solving.
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
- Must effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
