Position Summary
Freezing Point is the owner of the Frazil beverage brand and is the fastest growing frozen beverage company in the US with machines all over the nation. We are a growing, high-performance team looking for our newest Staff Accountant.
This is a new, growth role that will provide direct support to our CFO and Accounting Manager. This is an opportunity to learn from the best and join a stable, future-focused team. Ideal candidates have a strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and are ready to hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities
- Directly maintaining financial records including month-end close, journal entries, accruals, amortization, and depreciation.
- Balance sheet account reconciliation
- Recurring journal entries maintenance and reconciliation.
- Manage and report on accounts payable balances and aging.
- Partner with the Accounting Manager to support annual audits and other long-term projects.
- Partnering with the HR team in reconciling payroll and expense reimbursements.
- Collaborating with the accounting team and provide help with accounts receivable and inventory management.
- Help file sales tax and property tax returns.
- Other accounting duties and projects as assigned.
We are open to reviewing candidates with a variety of experience levels including recent graduates. The pay range above is intentionally broad to reflect that. Ultimately, the final pay will be based on your unique combination of experience and skill.
Skills, Knowledge, And Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar position.
- Strong, working knowledge of accounting fundamentals.
- Expert abilities in Microsoft Excel.
