Position Title: Cybersecurity (CS) Analyst III

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity (CS) Analyst III with at least five (5) years of experience, including four (4) years of related CS and INFOSEC technical experience, to join our team. The CS Analyst III will provide technical analysis for cybersecurity support and integration efforts, perform analysis of Assessment and Authorization (A&A) documentation for DoD or Navy RDT&E or operational systems, networks, and applications, and evaluate COTS INFOSEC products and related documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical analysis for cybersecurity support and integration efforts.
- Perform analysis of A&A documentation for DoD or Navy RDT&E or operational systems, networks, and applications.
- Evaluate COTS INFOSEC products and related documentation.
- Conduct CS controls analysis, risk assessments, and risk mitigation analysis.
- Develop and review contingency plans to ensure readiness in the event of a security incident.
- Utilize eMASS or other enterprise-level A&A tools for cybersecurity analysis and reporting.
- Conduct system/network vulnerability analysis and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Perform Security Test and Evaluations (ST&E) to assess the effectiveness of security controls.
- Develop and enforce firewall policies and manage ports and protocols.
- Implement and support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in cybersecurity, including four (4) years of related CS and INFOSEC technical experience.
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in CS/A&A analysis support.
- At least one (1) to two (2) years of experience working with eMASS or other enterprise-level A&A tools.
- Demonstrated knowledge of CS/INFOSEC concepts and requirements.
- Knowledge of the DoD A&A process and standards.
- Experience in system/network vulnerability analysis, risk assessment, and risk mitigation analysis.
- Proficiency in Security Test and Evaluations (ST&E) and contingency planning.
- Strong understanding of firewall policies, ports, and protocols.
- Familiarity with the RMF process.
- DoD Cyberspace work role: Systems Security Analyst (461); proficiency level: Advanced IAW DoDM 8140 series.
Preferred Skills:
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with DoD and military environments is a plus.
