Financial Analyst
Position Summary
Responsible for analyzing financial data for eCommerce Business Planning, identifying trends, monitoring key performance indicators, preparing financial reports, conducting monthly P&L reconciliations, supporting budgeting and planning processes, and providing actionable insights to optimize financial performance and drive business growth within the eCommerce org. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with Samsung's objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Monthly P&L analysis (Plan vs. Actuals)
- Root cause analysis for variance in revenue & profit
- Root cause analysis of Below CGS sales orders
- Other ad-hoc financial analysis requests
Requirements:
Background & Competencies Required:
- Strong knowledge of forecast modeling and basic P&L management.
- Prior experience in a consumer electronics manufacturer and/or retailer is preferred but not required.
- Ability to navigate the organization to gather information, elicit feedback, gain buy-in, and engage others in B2C activities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work under pressure and deadlines. In addition, one must be able to manage multiple projects and often competing priorities.
- 3 - 5 years of equivalent work experience required.
- College degree required.
- Proficiency in all components of Microsoft Office Suite as well as Tableau preferred.
