A Technical position, Contract to Hire - Strong Banking experience in Deposits, ACH, SWIFT, Teller System, ATM, Online Banking, is a key requirement. See below for more details.
- Determines operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, evaluating output requirements and formats.
- Designs new computer system applications by analyzing requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities and writing specifications.
- Improves application systems by studying current practices and designing modifications.
- Recommends controls by demonstrating both creative and critical thinking skills to identify and problems, and subsequently drafting improved procedures.
- Defines project requirements by working with a project team in identifying project milestones, phases, and elements.
- Monitors project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports and recommending actions.
- Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures.
- Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user support documentation and providing Level II system applications support.
- Maintains user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Operates as a liaison and work extensively with internal and external clients.
- Work closely with colleagues, testers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
- Support users on change control and system updates, adhering to Change Management procedures.
- Create and provide training and user manuals to users of a new system.
- Interface with client business analysts, technologists, and management through all phases of a project
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Business, Computer Science, or Information Systems, or related degree preferred.
- Banking experience a must:Deposits, ACH, SWIFT, Teller System, ATM, Online Banking,
- Experience in working with FIS IBS core system.
- Experience in working with Bankers Toolbox BAM system is a plus.
- Ability to develop and execute simple to complex queries in SQL Server Management Studio.
- Well verse in using Microsoft Office tools including Visio and Project.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate and synthesize technical and business information to technical and non-technical individual stakeholders.
- Team oriented, strong organizational and customer services skills.
