Research Analyst, Research Services
The Research Analyst role will support research initiatives under the Dynata Research & Data Science group, specifically focusing on brand tracker and custom studies. The researcher in this role will be responsible for designing, managing, and analyzing longitudinal brand tracking and custom surveys as well as supporting sales teams across the full project sales cycle.
This role involves direct face-to-face interactions with clients, requires exceptional communications skills, and the ability to independently write, present, and defend research findings across the solutions included in Dynata's suite of product offerings.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Own responsibility for designing and managing survey projects to address client needs.
- Analyze survey data and generate research reports, including visualization of findings, summary of results, recommendations, and presentation to clients.
- Support sales teams in efforts to increase acquisition and retention of clients, including participation in client meetings/calls and assisting in positioning, writing, and delivering proposals.
- Act as a liaison between sales, product, and operations teams on all assigned projects, including communicating project objectives and study design to product and operations teams, monitoring project fieldwork, overseeing project deliverables, and providing team and client updates.
- Contribute to the refinement, testing, and execution of the company’s brand and custom research product strategy, including:
- Assisting with the development of sales materials through analyzing industry trends, competitive landscape, and research studies.
- Helping create learnings and insights for industry conference presentations, case studies, white papers, and articles for trade publications.
Requirements:
- Experience in client-facing survey research delivery role preferred.
- Advanced analysis & report writing skills focused on insights and actionable recommendations.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and capable of working under minimal supervision.
- High level of initiative, energy, and enthusiasm for learning.
- Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to the accuracy and completeness of information.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work with tight deadlines while maintaining a strong client service orientation.
- Ability to grasp and understand new technologies and common statistical techniques.
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with statistical, cross tabulation, or analytical software a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.
Location: This role is open to U.S. and Canada remote and office-based candidates.

The salary range for this position is $55,281.98/yr. A discretionary incentive program may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and other benefits, dependent on full-time employment status.
