FUNCTION: Responsible for the collection, analysis, and presentation of sales data and performance metrics within a retail environment. Their job description includes:
GOAL:
- Data Analysis: Analyzing sales data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions.
- Reporting: Creating and maintaining regular sales reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Retail Activation Analytics: Evaluating the effectiveness of in-store promotions, marketing campaigns, and merchandising strategies.
- Data Collection: Overseeing data collection processes and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Strategy Development: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop strategies based on data-driven insights. Work with Sales, Field, Marketing on a collaborative basis.
- Performance Evaluation: Measuring and assessing the performance of retail outlets and providing recommendations for improvements.
- Software and Tools: Utilizing data analysis software, database systems, and visualization tools to extract and interpret data.
- Budgets: Work with finance to keep and produce front end group budgets.
- Communication: Effectively communicating findings and recommendations to senior management and other relevant departments.
- Market Research: Staying up to date with industry trends and competitor analysis, inclusive of advertising and incentive actions.
- Data Privacy Compliance: Ensuring that data handling and reporting comply with relevant data privacy regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Sales, marketing, and product knowledge/experience in farm equipment, heavy equipment, outdoor power or related field is required.
- Advanced analytical and reporting knowledge/experience in farm equipment, heavy equipment, outdoor power or related field.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language is required.
- Minimum 4-6 years of Customer Sales and Service experience in the related industry.
- Skilled at problem resolution.
- Solid understanding of Business Accounting and Systems to analyze issues with daily sales transactions.
- Experience in sales process improvement and root-cause analysis.
- Ability to coordinate training programs for new and current process instruction.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs with advanced presentation skills.
Experience in the following elements desired:
- Knowledge of SAP system required.
- Bachelors degree in Business or Marketing.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical manuals, parts manuals, etc.
- Management or team leader experience.
