Title: Senior Auditor - HYBRID
Location: Roseland Area, NJ
Remote / Hybrid: 2 or 3 days per week in the office
Overview:
This stable Fortune 500 company is a leader in their industry and consistently ranked as a great place to work with numerous work/life programs and benefits for their employees. They are currently looking for an operational audit senior with progressive experience. Position is HYBRID with 2 or 3 days in the office and has light travel (less than 10%) to nearby offices, and commute can be by car as it is local.
Responsibilities:
- Assess risks and execute audits
- Participate in all aspects of the audit including:
- planning
- risk assessment
- control analysis
- testing
- issue development
- reporting phases
Remain current in industry activities affecting the business areas and functions being audited
Partner directly with business unit management to identify risks, assess controls, develop issues and partner on control recommendations
Qualifications:
- BS Accounting / Finance
- Certification in audit discipline a plus (CPA, CIA, CISA)
- 3-7 years’ audit experience, Big 4 a plus
- Performed reviews of financial and operational processes, within financial services preferred
- Solid understanding of risk assessment and control analysis
- Strong project management and analytical skills to conduct audits and assess financial, operational, systems and compliance risks
- Demonstrated ability to effectively and confidently discuss issues with management and develop business-focused recommendations to strengthen controls is essential
- Low travel - 5-10% in the tri-state area.
