PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST-AMBULATORY NURSE EDUCATOR
Schedule: Full-time - Day shift - 8:00am-4:30pm
Under the supervision of the Director of Ambulatory Clinical Practice, provides ambulatory LifeBridge Health Medical Group (LBHMG) staff with professional development expertise as an educator, change agent, leader, consultant, and facilitator.
- Provides orientation, competency assessment, and continuing education to all clinical staff.
- Fosters the empowerment of staff through knowledge and an achievement of excellence through the delivery of evidence-based clinical practice.
- Continually assesses the learning needs of all clinical staff, leads and maintains all clinical programs and courses, while evaluating the impact of their outcomes.
- Possesses the ability to deliver information thoroughly and effectively utilizing a variety of teaching styles and techniques for the adult learner.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in more than one discipline.
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree. Other combination of education or experience may be considered.
- 5-7 years of experience.
- Nursing Professional Maryland Registered Nurse Certification preferred.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- American Heart Association CPR certification.
