As a Radiology Technologist with Banner Imaging, you'll have the opportunity to cross-train into Dexa or strengthen your already acquired Dexa skills.
DUTIES:
- General X-ray exams
- Dexa exams
- Fluoro exams
- Cross train in Dexa if not already trained.
- Produce high quality images
- Schedule management
- Checking orders in advance
- Communicate with physicians if needed

SHIFTS:
- Full Time/ 40 Hours
- Monday through Friday
- 7:30am- 4:00pm (flexibility from 7:00am - 5:00pm)

Medical imaging plays a pivotal role in the delivery of excellent patient care at Banner Health. POSITION SUMMARY
This position performs prescribed radiographic procedures in accordance with department/facility policies, procedures and protocols. This position ensures optimal care/treatment to patient population.
CORE FUNCTIONS
- Performs radiographic procedures and analysis according to departmental guidelines.
- Educates patients/families regarding procedures and/or treatments to be performed as well as risk factors and prevention.
- Produces high quality images and prepares/presents them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation.
- Demonstrates competence in performing prescribed invasive/interventional procedures if applicable.
- Performs and evaluates equipment quality control measurements.
- Accountable for the ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities related to radiology practice.
- Assures the efficient operation of workflow of the department by performing other duties as assigned.
- Independently performs prescribed radiographic procedures in accordance with department/facility policies, procedures and protocols to patients.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited school of Radiology program. Requires national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensure by the state regulatory agency if applicable. BLS certification required.
