JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Responsible for clinical assessment and treatment for acute illnesses, injuries, chronic problems, preventive care, and health counseling. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to provide high-quality primary health care to Penn State students. Typically requires a Master’s degree or equivalent knowledge, plus two years of work-related experience. Certified Nurse Practitioner licensed to practice in Pennsylvania required. This is a part-time position with up to three 8-hour shifts per week, which may include weekends. Work is primarily during the fall and spring semesters.
This job requires the following 3 publicly available clearances:
• PA State Police Criminal Background Check
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
• FBI Criminal Background Check.
