Speech Language Pathologist

We have an immediate, full-time, Speech-Language Pathologist opening for the 2023-24 school year with our school partners in Gages Lake. This position is in a highly supportive and community-focused elementary school that will provide excellent resources to SLPs and their students. This elementary-focused position will partner with another SLP in the building to provide speech services to a mixed caseload of students.

Responsibilities:
- Completes evaluations to assess speech needs and areas of growth.
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to identified students at the elementary level.
- Assist case manager with developing student Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to meet the students' speech and/or language needs.
- Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans.
- Facilitate staff and community training in the area of communication disorders.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Professional Educator License (PEL) eligible in the state of Illinois.
- Previous experience in a K-12 setting.
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License.
