*Summary:* We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant specializing in wound care to join our team in the Vicksburg, MS area. A dual license in MS and LA is preferred. This is a full-time 5 days per week position. You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of assigned patients in the acute care and in-home setting. This position will require some travel in the designated area.
*Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Manage wound care in the acute care and in-home setting
* Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
* Assess, monitor and report changes in patient symptoms
* Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding wound care
* Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
* Maintain accurate patient medical records
* Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
*Experience:*
* Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
* Familiarity with medical software and equipment
* Ability to build rapport with patients
* Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge and experience of wound and ostomy care
*Education:*
* Preferred: Dual license in MS and LA
* Master of Science in Nursing/PA equivalent
* Must be Board Certified in MS (BOARD ELIGIBLE IS NOT ACCEPTED)
* Excellent customer service skills

Potential bonus pay!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
