Responsibilities/Job Description:
As a Licensed Programmatic Care Therapist, you will determine clinical interventions, facilitate group therapy, and provide education for patients and their families. You will facilitate treatment planning and manage each case. You're responsible for the development of the transition/discharge plan. You will function as an interdisciplinary team member.
In addition to the above, you will be responsible for the following:
- Demonstrates clinical competence in the treatment planning process.
- Demonstrates clinical competence to assess individual patient needs.
- Demonstrates clinical competency to partner with a multi-disciplinary team in the treatment planning process.
- Demonstrates competence in developing a clinically relevant transition/discharge plan.
- Demonstrates clinical competence in conducting group therapy, family therapy, and psycho-education groups.
- Demonstrates the ability to advance evidence-based practice by utilizing standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.
- Communicates effectively and respectfully with others, including interdisciplinary team and all other contacts.
Qualifications:Required:- Education: Masters in Social Work and/or Psychology
- Experience: At least two years’ experience
- License/Certification/Registration: One of the following current Minnesota licenses: Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- BLS required prior to starting
Preferred:- Education: Masters in Social Work and/or Psychology
- Experience: Two years’ supervised therapy experience in mental health including assessment, individual, group, and family therapy.
- License/Certification/Registration: Ability to supervise
Additional Requirements:- For outpatient units, De-escalation and Self-Defense training and retraining as required.
