Summary

The qualified team member will be responsible for providing detailed financial and operational analysis to support the decision-making process within a poultry processing plant. This role involves analyzing production data, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.

Collect and analyze production data, including costs, yields, and efficiency metrics specific to poultry processing to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Prepare and present financial reports, staffing budgets, variance analyses, and performance summaries.
Collaborate with plant management to develop and implement strategies that optimize poultry processing and reduce costs.
Track key performance indicators related to poultry processing and provide insights to improve poultry operations.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains in poultry processing.
Lead or participate in special projects aimed at improving plant performance and profitability.
Will work closely with plant management to develop strategies and implement solutions that drive operational excellence in poultry processing.
All other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
Master’s Degree preferred or previous experience in poultry plant analysis.
Extensive experience in poultry production and operations management.
Excellent working knowledge of computer systems.

Knowledge/Skills

Microsoft Office skills with an expert focus on Excel.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and presentation abilities.
Proficiency in financial software/tools.
Strong analytical skills.
Advanced organization skills.
Understanding of poultry processing operations, cost accounting principles.
