Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to join their team. This is a hybrid role, with three days being onsite in their Burbank, CA office. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $100,000 to $110,000 per year.
Job Description
- Plans, studies, and collects data to determine costs of business activity
- Analyzes data obtained and records results
- Analyzes changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided, to determine effects on costs
- Records cost information for use in controlling expenditures
- Analyzes audits of costs and prepares reports
Requirements
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
- Experience with MAPICS manufacturing software and excellent MS Excel skills
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration and a minimum of 7 years' relevant experience
