This individual will help to drive the growth and transformation strategy for Equitable Life business. We are looking for someone with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills for enhancing our data architecture and data infrastructure to improve our ability to deliver timely reporting, forecasts, and key strategic insights to the business.
You will collaborate with the Team Lead to help achieve Team mission of optimizing client outcomes through initiatives that enhance advisor engagement, repeat business, for both the retail and independent channels. This team operates with a culture of innovation, embracing the principles of creativity, agility, design thinking and experimentation.
This position is on a Hybrid schedule and can be in either NY, New York or Charlotte, NC.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Enhancing our data architecture and data infrastructure to improve our ability to deliver timely reporting, forecasts, and key strategic insights to the business.
- Oversee monthly reporting today, in addition will transition current reporting capabilities to data visualization platform.
- Assist with establishing, analyzing, and reporting on key performance indicators of customer growth drivers. Use data to identify actionable insights, refine tactics and optimize performance of initiatives.
- Help drive the strategic thinking by delivering insights that may require in-depth analysis.
- Work cross-functionally to identify data needed to analyze the business at a granular level, gathering available data through existing tools, including customer/producer, operation, expense and risk drivers of profitability.
The base salary range for this position is $68,000 - $102,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases; Salesforce knowledge is a requirement; expertise in Excel, Python, and Tableau.
- Strong analysis skills, including comfort with setting up relational databases, querying, manipulating, and cleaning data sets.
- Strong critical thinking skills, with demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, particularly ability to translate complicated technical topics into clear, concise statements to all levels of the organization.
- Intellectually curious with a passion to challenge the status quo and find new solutions and drive out of the box ideas – loves and embraces change.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Analytics preferred.
- 2+ years’ experience in Data Analysis/IT/Automation preferred.
- Experience with machine learning and Artificial Intelligence is preferred.
- Experience with developing algorithms is preferred.
