Staff Accountant
Position Summary:
Hours: 40 Hours, Monday-Friday
Location: Ensign College Campus - 95 N 300 W, Salt Lake City, UT 84101
Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000
Employment Start Date: As soon as possible
Job Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in accounting or finance.
- Two to three years of general accounting experience.
- Experience with accounts payable, reconciliations, journal entries, and customer service.
Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Job Description:
- Supervise the accounts payable, journal entry and reconciliation processes.
- Assist in the resolution of AP related banking issues.
- Provide expense training and assistance to college employees.
- Assist in the capitalization, tracking and disposal of assets.
- Supervise and train student employees.
- Assist in managing the College's purchasing card program.
