Business Analyst, AOP - GSF Analytics
The candidate would be responsible for developing and maintaining WBRs and other analytical frameworks within the team. They would also be required to build ad-hoc reports, take up deep dive requests, make changes to existing analytical frameworks, and provide ad-hoc data support to Ops stakeholders. The person should have a good understanding of business requirements and the ability to quickly get to the root cause of reporting/BI/data issues, drafting solutions for resolution. The ideal candidate would be high on attention to detail, bias for action, and interest in analytics/BI/automation.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions. Ensure data accuracy by validating data for new resources.
- Work closely with stakeholders (internal/external) to understand and automate/enhance existing processes.
- Be open to learning and developing skillsets in the latest technologies and analytical techniques.
- Understand how data/analytical frameworks and their work translate to business on the ground.
- Come up with innovative ideas for new work or to improve existing work.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI, or other BI packages.
- Experience with SQL or ETL.
- Knowledge of Python, VBA, Macros, Selenium scripts.
- 1+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with Tableau.
- Experience using very large datasets.
