Job Description: Woodbury Corporation is looking to hire an accounting manager to oversee the preparation of financial statements, manage yearly financial statement audits, and provide managerial accounting analysis for the board of directors. This position will work closely with the VP and SVP of Accounting.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and publishing the financial statements of various real estate entities
- Managing the annual financial statement audit of various real estate entities
- Financial Statement Analysis and Commentary
- Cash Management Analysis
- Preparation of Capital Calls/Distributions
- Managerial Accounting Analysis
- Asset Management oversight
- Real Estate Private Equity Fund Accounting
- Accounting Review of 3rd Party Managed Investments
- Manage the implementation of new systems and technologies for the company
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (Master’s and Licensed CPA is a plus)
- Minimum of 2-6 years of experience in public accounting or industry
- Experience in the financial statement audit process
- Excellent analytical, research, and managerial accounting skills
- Knowledge of US GAAP
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Proficient in Accounting ERP’s
- Experience within the real-estate industry is preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
