PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Acts as a primary deployment manager for a large-scale Navy Tactical Network team
- Works embedded on an Agile team; assists with the technical writing and deployment management activities
- Provides guidance for technical teams on process steps for installation, deployments, integrations, production site coordination, and facilitates formal documentation in support of the mission
MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Five (5) or more years of experience supporting Navy systems, preferably tactical networks
- Thorough understanding and authoring of Navy included in the Shore Installation Process Handbook (SIPH). This includes knowledge management / technical writing in support of SITREPS, PSOVTS / SOVTS, deployment coordination, and all other supporting documentation
- Familiarity with systems and network installations, with the ability to understand complex Route / Switch engineering, design, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline
- Active DoD Secret clearance, ability to upgrade to Top Secret
- Eligible for CSWF IAT II (Security+ Min)
DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with any or all of the following:
- Familiarity with Navy communications facility equipment
- Cisco route / switch engineering
- Agile and Scaled Agile experience
