Job Summary:
Your primary role as an Advanced Practice Clinician Regional Manager is to provide excellent patient care to the clinics' scope of practice, serving as an example and mentor to the rest of Advanced Practice Clinician staff. Approximately, 50% of your time will be spent performing administrative duties such as scheduling, location visits, and chart reviews. You will be a necessary component of the medical management team, helping to improve both patient and clinician experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborates with leadership team to operationalize the mission, resource allocation, and internal policies of the Retail Clinics.
- Assists Medical Director in leading and setting agenda for Advanced Practice meetings.
- Schedules Advanced Practice Clinicians and ensures coverage for all locations.
- Manages the PRN pool of Advanced Practice Clinicians, monitoring needs for growth or transition.
- Monitors time away of the Advanced Practice Clinicians and is accountable for variances.
- Develops an environment of trust, consistency, and confidentiality with team members.
- Communicates effectively and impartially, both orally and in writing.
- Serves as communication link between Advanced Practice Clinician staff, Medical Directors, and Director of Advanced Practice.
- Facilitates clinical relationships between primary care/urgent care/retail clinics/community facilities.
- Interprets and communicates policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory mandates and updates to the Advanced Practice Clinician staff.
- Participates in quality review and clinical program development.
- Works clinically an average of one weekday per week and two weekend days every 4 weeks.
- Partners with medical management team to review patient and physician feedback.
- Spearheads twice yearly OPPE and monitors all FPPE.
- Reviews evaluations with medical management team.
- Recognizes development needs and identifies/creates development opportunities within the Advanced Practice Clinician staff.
- Leads and coordinates the credentialing process.
- Assists Medical Director with interviewing, hiring, orientation, and training of new Advanced Practice Clinicians.
- Partners with Director of Advanced Practice in developing growth opportunities for Advanced Practice Clinicians.
- Builds, maintains, and supports a culture that fosters effective working relationships.
- Travels to all assigned clinics on a rotating basis approximately twice monthly.
- Provides accessibility for individual Advanced Practice Clinician meetings.
- Assists building relationships within the organization and communities.
- Attends and participates in Retail Clinic meetings and leadership functions.
