Responsibilities
- Weekly cash journal entries of company bank accounts
- Month-end close process, performing work in the following areas as assigned: Cash reconciliations, Fixed Assets, AP/Accrued Liabilities, Prepaids, etc.
- Maintaining balance sheet schedules and completing reconciliations monthly
- Assist Senior Accountants in the accounting integration for new clinics
- Analyze P&L for assigned locations monthly
- Propose adjusting journal entries (accruals, reclasses, etc.) to the Senior Accountant
- Perform other ad-hoc projects as required
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP
Requirements
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced)
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Desire to work in a high-growth, start-up environment
