Job Summary/Overview
The Accounting Intern will assist the Corporate Accounting team with ad hoc analyses, month-end analyses, SEC reporting filings, and the Consolidation Process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with the completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual analyses.
- Assist the consolidation team with CMCO's worldwide financial statement consolidation.
- Participate in the monthly close process including performing balance sheet account reconciliation reviews and investigating any discrepancies.
- Assist with monthly journal entries and perform true-ups for accounts.
- Assist with the monthly lease accounting maintenance and analysis.
- Support the Accounting department with various ad-hoc projects.
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities
- Basic Microsoft Excel skills.
- Intellectually curious to learn new finance concepts and hone Excel skills.
- Reasoning abilities and analytical thinking.
- Self-starter, ability to function independently without close management.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business.
- Applicants must have authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
- Must be able to work full-time from June 2, 2025, to August 8, 2025.
